Tuscan's Grazia di Bella Vita Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold x Express' Brookhollow Amazing Grace ARI No.: 31577946 DOB: 9/21/10 Color/Sex: Light fawn female SOLD TO SNOWMASS ALPACAS, HEIDI SKINNER, AT 2011 FUTURITY AUCTION. CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU! Sold this young beauty to another young beauty. Congratulations Heidi and thank you Julie for taking the time to recognize our program. We appreciate it very much. She is such a stunner! This beautiful Tuscan Gold daughter has that unmistakable Tuscan look. She is an outstanding full Peruvian, 5/8 Accoyo female out of a medium fawn proven producer and attentive dam whose crias mature quickly with good size. Grazie's downy soft, silky fleece is dense, fine, crimpy, and exhibits her sire's trademark brightness and advanced character. It totally covers her stout frame down to her toes. Tuscan is known for passing on his many fine qualities, and Grazie has inherited these, including his beautiful head and perfect conformation. Both sire and dam have maintained fineness of fleece as they have matured, so we expect the same for Grazie. She is growing into a very nice cria as we expected when we chose to enter her in the 2011 Futurity auction. Good bone is evident, and she is covered clear to her toes in fine, bright fleece. She is absolutely darling, total eye candy! SHOW RECORD: She debuted at the 2011 MOPACA in Kansas City. She was the baby in her class and placed 3rd. She was pulled immediately in a 3-way sandwich with the eventual 1st and 2nd place finshers. The judge 's comments were that the top 3 were very close and that she looked forward to seeing Grazie in the show ring as she matured. FLEECE STATS: As expeced, she is very fine. AFD: 17.0, SD 4.0, CV23.6%, comfort factor 100%, curve 30.2 Dg/mm

TUSCAN'S PERFECT STORM di BELLA VITA Cocoa Puffe x Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold ARI#: 32147391 DOB: 9/13/10 Sex/Color: Male, dark brown/dark rose gray This is another fabulous cria from Cocoa Puffe and Tuscan. He is a full sibling to Black Silk and Prosecco, who we have retained for our foundation stock at Bella Vita. This guy is as cute as they come with a stout, compact, upright frame. He is fully covered to his toes with a beautiful head. His fleece is very bright, full of character, and uniform, despite the presence of black fibers mixed in with the brown fibers. His neck fleece is a dark pewter gray color. His dam and sire have both produced black when bred to each other and with different partners. Dam Cocoa Puffe produced Chocolat out of a different herdsire, and Tuscan has produced several blakcs with other females. See AROSA Dazzlyn at Irish Meadows, Black Jewel also of Irish Meadows and Mezzenotte of Red Granite Ranch and still on our 2009 cria page. We knew he would be fine, but I didn't anticipate that the 7 samples I sent in for testing, he would be the finest! This included light fleeces like brother Primo's. This male has been to his first show, was the baby in a large class and placed a very competitive 3rd place. Look for him at our show stalls in 2010. At this time he is being offered for sale, but we are very, very tempted to keep him in our foundation herd. Can't keep them all, though we'd like to! We highly recommend him for a dark program looking to maintain or improve lingering fineness, add brightness and soft hand to the fleeces. FLEECE DATA: 2011 AFD 15.7, SD 3.7, CV 23.8%, Comfort Factor 100%, Curve 35.6 Dg/mm, Min. 14.4, Max 18.3, staple 80.0 mm (6 months of age) SHOW DATA: 1st and Res. TUSCAN'S ZAHARA di BELLA VITA Sunset Hills Zeph's Zsa Zsamora x Sumny Mesa's Tuscan Gold ARI#: 32147377 DOB: 8/12/10 Sex/Color: Medium fawn female Fyll Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo This is a full sister to Toscana who we sold at the 2009 AOBA auction and was one of the top sellers. Zahara is a very nicely proportioned, conformationally correct female with beautiful, bright, dense, crimpy fleece and total coverage. She has a long staple length and the fleece character is uniform all over her frame. She has a very pretty, full fleeced head and inquisitive nature. She is about perfect and will win you over with her sweet nature. Her dam is out of a Caligula daughter and maternal grandsire is the multiple champion Zephyrus. These genetics paired with Tuscan Gold have produced 2 exceptional female crias, so much so that a male of this caliber would be just as welcome. Zahara's dam is bred back to Tuscan for a 2011 cria. We were going to consign Zahara to the 2011 AOBA auction, in fact had her entered, but we sold her just before the auction selection occurred, so pulled her from the deliberation. FIBER DATA: 2011 (7 months) - AFD 19.7, SD 4.7, CV 23.7, Comfrot Factor 97.2%, curve 34.8 Dg/mm, min 17.7, max 23.5, staaple 75.0 mm. This is a cria sample, so I expect her CV to improve with the yearling sample. SHOW WINS: 1st place - 2011 TxOLAN 3rd place - 2011 MOPACA PRICE: SOLD TO SHEILA SCHWARTZ-ZYCH OF TANNER Z FARM IN NEW YORK. Congratulations Sheila on the purchase of this stunning female!

Chi Chi as a yearling |

Tuscan's Chi Chi di Bella Vita Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold x Chia Pet di Bella Vita Color/Sex: Light fawn female DOB: 7/2/10 ARI: 32147407 Chi Chi is a lovely female, very graceful and feminine. We have another female on the ranch, Carina, who I think is one of our most beautiful alpacas, and as Chi Chi grows into a yearling, more than once I have mistaken her for Carina. I have to do a double take to make sure who is who. Chi Chi is by Tuscan Gold, and he has stamped his beautiful head, bright fine fleece, level top line and presence on this daughter, correcting her dam's slightly lower front carriage. Her dam is a Cocoa Puffe daughter, Cocoa Puffe being our premier dam of color alpacas on the ranch. We think the cross of Tuscan genetics with Corazon` genetics will be our Golden Cross, so have decided to breed Chi Chi to El Corazon` for a 10/12 cria. Her dam is a very healthy, plump girl - i.e. easy keeper - yet she maintains fineness of fleece in spite of a body score of about 9. Chia Pet's last histogram had an AFD of about 21 and at a time when she was 3 1/2 years old and pregnant. Chi Chi has done reasonably well in the show ring and earned a blue at the 2011 GWAS show. Her dam line history of stellar reproductive qualities and her sire's wonderful fleece and conformational characteristics make her a very sound investment for someone looking to add to their foundation herd. She is confirmed pregnant to El Corazon` for a 10/12 cria. Since Corazon` is Cocoa Puffe son and Chia Pet a Cocoa Puffe granddaughter, this is a line breeding that should solidify those wonderful qualities that Cocoa Puffe brings to the table. FIBER STATS: AFD: 20.5 SD: 4.3 CV: 20.8 Fibers >30: 2.5 SHOW RESULTS: 1st place (large class) - 2011 GWAS 6th (out of 11) - 2011 MOPACA - sister Tuscan's Grazie took 3rd place 5th (out of 9) - 2011 A-OK Blastoff PRICE: $12,000

TUSCAN'S PRIMO DI BELLA VITA Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold x SA Peruvian Apollo's Nicolette ARI: 31896320 Color/Sex/Breed: White Male Huacaya Jr. Herdsire Full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo This is quite possibly the best alpaca we have ever bred. Stunning male with equally stunning fleece. Born on shearing day 2010, he was a beautiful peach/beige color that has gone white as a yearling. His fleece characteristics show very good uniformity of micron and style throughout the fleece which is organized and exhibiting microbundling throughout. This has been noticed by the judges which propelled Primo to the top of his classes right off the bat, evidenced by his 1st place with Res. Color Champ win at his first show, the 2011 A-OK Blastoff. His fleece is very fine at 16.2 micron, bright and with low CV/SD, evidenced by his narrow spike histogram graph. Primo has perfect conformation, level topline and gorgeous head. His testicular development has also been impressive for a youngster. He has HERDSIRE stamped all over him, including his attitude and presence. He is his sire all over again in white. We have had quite a lot of interest in Primo with inquires on his sales price, but at this point we are happy to keep him in our herd, so if he were to sell, it would not be for a bargain price. This is the kind of male who will be a leader in the industry and can take a farm from Good to Great, as his sire did for us. We have surmised about a couple of males in the past being Tuscan's replacement, but I can say with confidence at this point that Primo has everything we would want in a son to take over for his dad in the future. FIBER STATS: AFD: 16.4 D: 3.3 CV: 20.3% Curve: 41.0 Dg/mm Min: 15.4 Max: 18.6 Staple: 90 mm SHOW RECORD: 1st place (out of 9) - 2011 A-OK Blastoff light males Res. CC (out of 26) - 2nd 2011 A-OK Blastoff - light males 2nd place (out of 4) - 2011 TxOLAN with 1st place to a Snowmass bred male and the judge said the top 2 were very close 1st place (out of 10) - 2011 MOPACA; Large class of 10 crias consisting of sons from Snowmass and Never Summer genetics, Charles P. Atlas, Michaelangelo, Barnabus 2nd place (out of 13 or 14) 2011 GWAS 6th place (out of 14 or 15) - 2011 AOBA - After placing 5, the judge had him confused with another male with a bite issue. Came back, apologized to Chuck about mix up and told him to take the 6th place. Judge then raved about all 6 males in oral reasons, saying any one of the top 6 were what breeders should strive for. The fineness, uniformity and conformation were good in all 6 placements. Wonder if Primo would have placed higher had the bite confusion not been in play? Will never know but were happy to place in this stiff field of competition. At this show Primo color checked white, so his first show against white males. Had been beige at previous shows. 2nd place - 2011 ABR Fall Festival 1st place - 2011 High Plains Alpaca show

TUSCAN'S VIVA DI BELLA VITA DOB: 10/29/10 ARI: 32147414 Color/Sex/Breed: White female huacaya Full Peruvian 5/8 Accoyo Viva is a darling white Tuscan daughter out of a Royal fawn dam. She has the characteristic Tuscan look, upright, catches everyone's eye with her presence, level topline, beautiful head, balanced frame covered with fleece that is bright and fine. She was too young to show in 2011 and her histograom is pending. We have had her dam, her dam's full sister and the granddam on our ranch, so have a good idea about that line to help the new buyer maximize on Viva's potential. The dam line has a history of easy reproductive characteristics. Viva would sell with a breeding to any Bella Vita Ranch herdsire, and we would suggest Snowmass Alpine King. FIBER STATS: Pending SHOW RECORD: Not yet shown PRICE: $7500
